Airports
Three major airports service the Santa Cruz area:
Mineta San Jose International Airport is located about 32 miles east of Santa Cruz, and is the closest large airport to our conference. This airport is served by several international airlines.
San Francisco International Airport is located about 60 miles north of Santa Cruz, and is served by several international airlines.
The Monterey Peninsula Airport offers a convenient and hassle-free traveling experience, and is located about 45 miles south of Santa Cruz. Boarding time and security checks are quick, long-term parking is just a few steps away, and there are more than 40 daily flights.
Ground Transportation
Santa Cruz is approximately 40 miles from San Jose Airport. A taxi costs about $100. If you rent a car, free parking is provided at the hotels and Cocoanut Grove Conference Center in Santa Cruz. The Santa Cruz Airporter Shuttle costs $40 one-way, departs San Jose airport every two hours and drops you at your specific destination. Make reservations for this shuttle in advance.
