Our invited KEYNOTE SPEAKER will be Dr. Alan Longhurst. He will make a presentation and lead a group discussion on “The Sustainability Myth”.
SOCIAL EVENTS at 15th Western Groundfish Conference include:
Welcoming Reception during Registration at Cocoanut Grove.
Evening reception accompanying Poster Session, sponsored by California Department of Fish and Game.
Dessert at Monterey Bay Aquarium, with dinner served en route.
Banquet, special entertainment, and auction.
Wednesday, February 6th. Take a guided walk through the world’s largest northern elephant seal breeding colony at Año Nuevo State Reserve, 25 miles north of Santa Cruz. Breeding season is December through March!
